Disability Support Services Victoria and in All States and Other Territories
Avocadocare services including on call disability support services VICTORIA are available in all states and other territories.
The program is designed for participants to reduce the challenges people with disabilities experience in their daily lives. The goal is to help participants improve their quality of life. As a participant, you’ll set your goals and work with NDIS to layout your NDIS Plan. Depending on your allocated budget, you get to choose which disability support and services VIC fits your goals.
Does Avocadocare Support Services for Children with Disabilities?
Avocadocare provides support services for children with disabilities as young as 7 years old.
If you need support services for children with disabilities under 7, you may contact Early Childhood Partners around Australia to deliver the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach.
Does Avocadocare Support Services for Disabled Adults?
Avocadocare support services for disabled adults between 18 to 70 years old. To meet the requirement as a prospective participant, the disability must be attributable to one or more intellectual, autism, psychosocial, cognitive, neurological, sensory or physical impairments or to one or more impairments attributable to a psychiatric condition.
Where are VICTORIA Disability Support Services Available?
VICTORIA disability support services are available at 19 City Place, Sunshine Vic 3020. Avocadocare also provides support services for people with disabilities in all states and territories. Our respite services are in The City of Brimbank suburbs and the City of Moreland.
How are Services and Supports for People with Disabilities Funded?
Avocadocare is accredited to provide disability support services funded by NDIS. All our services and support for people with disabilities are also available through private funding.
If you are an NDIS participant, we have all 3 levels of Support Coordination to help you manage your NDIS plan.
What are the Support Services That Could be Accessed by a Disability Client?
The support services that could be accessed by a disability client fall into three categories: core, capital, and capacity building.
Core Support helps participants with their daily living activities.
Capital Support helps participants with acquiring assistive technologies, equipment and home/vehicle modifications. This also covers funding for capital costs, which includes Specialist Disability Accommodation and Therapeutic Supports Services. According to NDIS, funding for Specialist Disability Accommodation is only provided to a small proportion of NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs who meet specific eligibility criteria.
